Erhverv: Residerende kapellan (hjælpepræst) i Ringkøbing. Sognepræst først i Grimstrup sogn og sidenhen i Nustrup sogn, Gram herred, Haderslev amt i Tørninglen. Student fra Kolding i 1778 og teolog 02-04-1783. Gift 16-07-1788: Baltasar Giørtz, res. kapellan i Ringkøbing-R., gifter sig 16-07-1788 i Kolding Sct. Nikolaj kirke med Anne Katrine Høxbroe, boende i Kolding bys købstad. Død 02-04-1821: Balthazar Giørtz, sognepræst i Nustrup, dør 02-04-1821 i Nustrup, 64 år gl. og begravet 10-04-1821 på Nustrup sogns kirkegård. He married Ana Catharina Høxbroe, daughter of Peder Høxbroe and Anna Beata Møller, on July 16, 1788 in Kolding Sct. Nikolaj kirke. She was born on September 21, 1765 in Kolding Sct. Nikolaj sogn and died on February 4, 1852 in Ribe domsogn at the age of 86 years.
